Rethinking education

During a whole semester, students work in creating societal value connecting with communities around the world. During this journey, we provide some tools through different workshops and trainings about: Theory U, Complexity, Uncertainty, Networks, and our own developed 4E-Model. We also introduce our students to the concept of the Five Minds for the Future by Howard Gardner (2005). This framework allows students to reflect about their own growth and learning journey and assess their own progress. Knowledge is everywhere, students are encourage to find the knowledge embedded in different networks, attend conferences, take webinars or other courses online, travel and talk to professionals in different disciplines. In this video you can listen about the main pillars of the Value Creators concept. If you want to know more about our concept, please check our videos on YouTube.

Value Creators is a learning community where students become change agents working hand to hand with professional networks. In this learning environment, we work with complex questions related to the Sustainable Development Goals. We encourage students to look beyond the university campus and find interdisciplinary networks to collaborate and learn from.

Why, what and how

If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it. (Lyndon B. Johnson)
